About the Item

These chairs are a very sought after set of Antony Chairs originally designed in 1950 by French Architect Jean Prouvé, released via license by Vitra USA on behalf of the Prouvé family in 2002. These chairs were acquired as a set (see original tags under the seats) and have remained together. They each feature both original tags on the undersides of the seats, in the original positions as placed by Vitra at the time of manufacture. (see photos) Each chair has some minor wear on the seats, however neither is structurally damaged in anyway nor deeply scratched or stained. There is minor drying of the clear coat on the plywood. The steel bases are in tact and also remain in good condition with very minor scratches commiserate with normal wear, however there are no chips in the powder coat anywhere. Truly a collector’s set, these chairs will be delivered and placed in the purchaser’s home or space in the desired location. Shipping is only available within the Continental US 48 states.
