About the Item

This is the one!. Presenting the magnificent Blue F598 Groovy M-Chair, a 1970s creation for Artifort created by famed French designer Pierre Paulin. This well-known work exemplifies Paulin's distinctive style, which blended vivid colors, organic shapes, and clear lines to produce an eye-catching and distinctive look. One of Paulin's most well-known designs is the Blue F598 Groovy M-Chair, which has a smooth, curved shape that cradles the body for optimal comfort. The chair's low profile and straightforward lines make it a flexible complement to any mid-century modern setting, while its vivid blue orginal upholstery provides a punch of color to any area. Before going out on his own in the early 1960s, Paulin started his career in the 1950s as an employee of the Thonet-France corporation. His designs became well-known right away for their creative material manipulation and smooth integration of form and function. Paulin kept pushing the envelope of design in the 1960s and 1970s, producing a string of legendary works for Artifort that have come to define mid-century modern style. Pierre Paulin created the 'GROOVY' or 'M-CHAIR' shell seat, model F598, for Artifort in 1973. It is still in high demand because it is a classic and lovely design. Although used, this chair is good condition. H 84, W 64, D 57 cm Seatheight 29 - 36 cm (Seating space is angled, thats why there is a variation). Due to the age, some signs of use
