George Nakashima Dining Armchair for Widdicomb

About the Item

Black walnut dining armchair by George Nakashima for Grand Rapids, Michigan-based company Widdicomb, c.1960s for their "Origins" collection. This rare dining chair, is one of the few upholstered pieces from George Nakashima. Upholstered in Alexander Girard Lanalux fabric, with a tufted seat and seatback. The chair has two beautifully curved armrests and sits on two rear angled legs with tapered dowel front legs. Dimensions: 25.25" width x 26" depth x 38.5" height, 16.5" seat height Condition: Excellent restored condition; professionally refinished and upholstered in Alexander Girard Lanalux fabric.
