Josef Frank Armchair, Model No. 403/F, 1928 This Armchair, designed by Josef Frank in 1928, features a stained bent beech frame and stained beech plywood. It was manufactured by Gebrüder Thonet, Austria, and is stamped "THONET" on the underside. Austrian-born architect, artist, and designer who adopted Swedish citizenship in the latter half of his life. Together with Oskar Strnad, he created the Vienna School of Architecture, and its concept of Modern houses, housing and interiors. Condition: - Very good vintage condition - Light wear to the original finish, with minor scuffing and some unevenness in the finish - Structurally sound Dimensions: - Height: 36" - Seat Height: 16.25" - Width: 29" - Depth: 26"
