The rosewood veneered legs and frame have been hand sanded and brought back to their original luster showing only minor surface scratches (mostly relegated to the feet) and small veneer repairs, the worst of which can be seen in the detail photos provided. With that said the rosewood is in overall very good shape and the variegated woodgrains unique to the species is absolutely stunning in natural light. The upholstery, redone in a fabulous white cotton bouclé by Knoll Fabrics, has been painstakingly re-upholstered in accordance with the original scheme and pattern in homage to the late grate Baughman and is in showroom condition and features new medium density foam for maximum comfort. This iconic chair is incredibly comfortable, structurally sound and ready for a lifetime more of use. Please view all photos for details on this lounger's current condition.
