Original "Marshmallow" sofa, 1958, by George Nelson (1908-1986) et Irving Harper for Hermann Miller Inc.
All sit made with 18 circular cushions, covered here with 7 different colored fabric. Chromed and black metal structure.
Marked with Nelson and Miller stamp.

Considered as one of the first "Pop-art" style piece, with commutable sits, so unusual, Georges Nelson bet to produce this sofa as he directed H.Miller Inc. He is one of the founder of after 1st world war American furniture design in shape and material.
