Denmead Stool, Polished Stainless Steel with Brass Castings & Belgian Linen
By And Objects
Located in London, GB
And objects, product design studio founded by Martin Brudnizki and Nick Jeanes based in London. Inspired by Art Deco lines and proportions, the Denmead Stool is reminiscent of Swedish Grace design whilst retaining a contemporary edge. Handcrafted in England, the stool features a rolled aged steel frame that gently undulates in a curving pattern. Rivet Stool I by Bill Amberg, vegetable-tanned leather with hand-set rivets
By Bill Amberg Studio
Located in Saffron Walden, GB
A product of their experiments into leather’s capacities for weight-bearing and structural support, the Rivet Stool by Bill Amberg is created from a single piece of wonderfully thick shoe sole leather. With no internal structure, it takes the material out of its expected context to produce a bold, lightweight, versatile and robust item of furniture. The 6mm vegetable-tanned leather is folded into place and secured with hand-set copper rivets. Its form is inspired by Nordic birch-bark containers and references traditional Native American leather objects, with a contemporary aesthetic updated for modern living. The Rivet Stool is made by hand in London by Bill Amberg's team of leather artisans. It will develop a rich patina over time. Due to the characterful nature of the shoe sole leather, each piece will be slightly different, with natural markings and variations in colour. The base of the stool can be dip-dyed using a choice of leather dye.

Hand Carved and Woven Stool, Partly Quilted Textile Pouf, Modern Burl Stool
By Custhom
Located in London, GB
The Oblique Burl stool is made using an Ash frame, sustainably sourced from an English timber merchants and hand carved and finished in our London studio. We use 100% hand picked Egyptian cotton that meets industry regulations for environmental safety, ethical production and the use of non – harmful chemicals. We blend the cotton with a Viscose flax, which stems from natural fibres and is processed in order to meet the qualities and abrasion required to satisfy European industry standards for both manufacture and use. Our products are made locally to us in South East London in small batches so as much as we can, we reduce the movement of our items and the possibility of generating unnecessary energy and material waste. The Oblique fabric collection was developed through the dissection and reduction of blocks of text. Interested in how non-verbal communication is evolving and questioning the importance of physical paper letters, the studio took influence from the mail art...
