Eames Seafoam Rope-Edge Zenith Armchair

About the Item

1st generation rope-edge Parchment fiberglass armchair, on original swivel maple base, designed by Ray and Charles Eames for Herman Miller. Distinct thread texture that varies in saturation and density throughout the molded fiberglass surface. Swivel function moves smoothly, and all shockmounts are original and present. Hits all the fine points, a knockout collector's item. Marked with the Zenith checkerboard label to the underside: Herman Miller Furniture Company, California. 1950s. Measures: 31” Tall x 25” Wide x 22” Deep 17" Seat Height.
