About the Item

These are custom 2-position credenzas, designed C. 1965 by Gordon Bunshaft and Davis Allen within Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill. The listed price includes one credenza, and we have 2 available for purchase. They feature lush teak sides on their front, back, and sides. They sport polished stainless-steel pulls, legs, and trim. They have lovely matched white marble slabs on their tops. The tops are original and show some wear, though can be professionally re-polished to perfection if desired. The pieces are fully finished on all sides, allowing them to float in a room. Bunshaft and Allen were both important American architects and designers. Bunshaft was a leading figure in the modernist movement who was widely recognized for his work in skyscraper design. Each cabinet measures 19 inches long, 36 inches wide, and 20.5 inches high including their marble tops. There are some small superficial scrapes and nicks to the veneer, and some light scratches to the steel trim. Overall, these pieces are in very good condition with some light wear apparent. Please see photos. They are original examples and guaranteed as authentic custom SOM pieces. Genuinely faulty goods will be replaced or money refunded on a case by case basis, however we must be advised of any faulty goods upon receipt of the item. It is the customer's responsibility to pay for return shipping and ship the item back to us. If the item is found to be faulty, we will also refund the postage cost. If there is no damage to the item, but a return is approved, the buyer will be responsible for both the initial and return shipping cost. It is at our discretion to refuse the refund of undamaged goods. If an order is placed and you would like to cancel the order, please notify us immediately. Any refunds will be processed via the same means that payment was made.
