Description:
Writing cabinet in cherry veneer standing on a cut-out plinth frame.
In the lower section we see two doors with two large open compartments behind them.
Above this is the writing flap which folds forward and is held by wrought iron fittings. Counterweights are mounted on the back of the flap to ensure that the writing flap cannot fall forward even when it is not locked. The effect is clearly visible on the video.
Inside, we see a central mirrored compartment flanked by discreet solid columns. Around it are a total of ten drawers.
There is a wide drawer in the overhanging and curved head section.
The piece of furniture impresses with its beautifully symmetrical grain on all sides. The veneers have been laid in mirrored perfection, both on the furniture front and on the sides.
