Nature morte di fiori in vaso di scuola italiana del XVII secolo, coppia di due dipinti senza cornice. Olio su tela con sfondo scuro e fiori finemente definiti. Questi dipinti, natura morta di fiori barocchi di scuola italiana sono caratterizzati da una composizione ben bilanciata disposta secondo uno schema piramidale con fiori di vario tipo entro un vaso, frutta alla base e uccelli nella parte superiore. I colori sono caldi con sfumature di rossi e bianchi senza contrasti, tutti estremamente delicati e morbidi. Queste bellissime nature morte italiane della metà del 1600 sono realizzate con un'abbondanza di fiori e foglie fluenti. La composizione floreale ha un'estrema esuberanza e abilità nell'assemblare fiori diversi, raccolti in un mazzo. La finalità decorativa è esaltata dalla varietà dei fiori dipinti; si trovano peonie, rose, tulipani, garofani, fiori di campo policromi, ma anche fiori irreali, inventati, di fantasia. In queste composizioni floreali italiane antiche i fiori sono i veri protagonisti in primo piano mentre tutto il resto si rivela come il vaso indefinito in ottone e il piano del tavolo squadrato. Scuola italiana, XVII secolo, questa coppia di nature morte di fiori presenta vecchi restauri, eseguiti intorno agli anni Cinquanta: foderatura della tela, nuovo telaio e ritocchi pittorici. Provengono da una collezione privata milanese e sono in buone condizioni d'uso. Queste opere vengono spedite dall'Italia.
