Pair of 19th Century French Oil on Canvas Paintings in Gilt Frames Signed Louis

About the Item

Decorate a man's office or study with this elegant pair of antique paintings; crafted in France and set in the original carved giltwood frame, each canvas features a nicely dressed political gentleman before and after the elections. The first art work, titled "Candidat" (running for office), depicts a shy gentleman trying to get some recognition. The second painting titled "Elu" (elected), depicts the same man with confidence and maybe some arrogance. Both paintings are in excellent condition with rich colors, and are signed by the artist, Louis. Measures: 12.5" W x 15" H.
