Designer Aldo Cipullo was employed by TIffany & Co., David Webb, and Cartier and eventually became world renown for his symbolic love jewelry that suggested permanence and always had a sense of humor. This whimsical bracelet, designed in 1974, features a front gold lock that represents the securing of one's eternal love. Additionally, the four 18K white gold bolts, on either end of the yellow gold plaque, are meant to add a lifetime of further protection to the symbolism. All mounted on a matte black grosgrain ribbon 1/2" in width, the rare and collectible bracelet is an impactful and romantic statement. 8 1/2" in length and adjustable through an 18K yellow gold buckle. Stamped A. Cipullo with date "1974".
