About the Item

2 piece serving set including a sterling silver serving spoon and fork in the Shell & Thread pattern by Tiffany & Co with monogram. Monogram appears to be C The Shell & Thread pattern was introduced in 1905 and continues to be one of the most in-demand of Tiffany's classic patterns. The design features a raised edge around the handle, a shell motif on the front, top of the handle and on the back of the bowl, as well as a fleur-de-lis accent at the bottom of the front and back of the handle. The C hallmark dates these pieces to manufacture under the directorship on Charles T Cook, 1902-1907. Does not include Tiffany box or pouch. Fork measures approx 8 1/2" long, 1 1/4" wide across tines. Spoon measures approx 8 1/2" long, 1 3/4" wide across bowl. Weighs approx 193.2g, 124.2dwt total Both pieces are marked TIFFANY & CO STERLING PAT 1905 C Very nice condition with some light tarnish and slight surface scratches. Will come packaged in a gift box or pouch when possible (not a Tiffany box or pouch) and will be shipped US Priority Mail with insurance. Does not include Tiffany & Co box or pouch. CL092623/17KCS
