A fine Georg Jensen sterling silver bowl. Model no. 259 Designed by Gundorph Albertus (1887 - 1970). With a hand-hammered triangular bowl that tapers to a fluted and graduated pedestal supported by a disc foot. Simply a wonderful bowl! Date: 1932-1960 Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition. There is an engraved dedication on the foot of the bowl. Otherwise, there are some very fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Engraved: With an inscription that reads "To Betty and Paul with best wishes, From Peter" Maker: Georg Jensen Marks: Georg Jensen factory mark / Denmark / Sterling / 259 / Dessin AG / and with the assayers mark 'J.S.' for Johannes Siggaard.
