This vase features a finely crafted bronze frame of good quality, in the German Art Nouveau / Jugendstil style. Recently mounted lamp: new electricity. Art Nouveau, France, circa 1900. Attributed to Paul Milet (1870-1950), son of the ceramist Félix Optat Milet and himself a ceramist, trained in the laboratory of the Manufacture de Sèvres. He worked in the factory founded by his father, which he gradually took over. Paul Milet exhibited in Paris and Sèvres.
