Lisa Creagh graduated from Goldsmiths in 1994, and more recently, with a Masters in Photography from Brighton University. Between 1997 and 2001 she lived and worked as an artist in New York, teaching digital imaging and curating exhibitions. Upon her return she founded The Brighton Photo Fringe in 2003, a network of photographers, still running in conjunction with the Brighton Photo Biennial.
As a producer and curator she has delivered large-scale photographic projects for international artists and delivered talks at various colleges. In 2006 she received critical acclaim for the originality and collaborative nature of ‘Tidy Street’ where she transformed a street in Brighton in to a series of light-boxes utilizing the windows of small terraced houses. Prior to her MA she was awarded two Arts Council England Individual Artists Awards.
Her current ongoing project, ‘The Instant Garden’ was begun in 2008 and is inspired by Dutch Flower paintings...

A moment in time
In 2021, a gallery from Brussels contacted us. There, a photographic collection had been kept in tin boxes for decades, consisting of 6x6 glass slides in color.
The collection shows the worldwide travels of a then presumably very wealthy family from Belgium and was created in the 1950s and 1960s. The name of the creator of these works is unknown.
We purchased the collection and are carefully curating the holdings to find outstanding period photographs within for high quality limited edition prints and large formats - for rooms made for people, with windows into the past.
The print is new, limited to a maximum of 50 copies, created on Hahnemühle FineArt Pearl. To keep shipping costs low, the work comes to you rolled in a special box.

This contemporary, surrealist style photograph was printed by the artistic duo, Kahn & Selesnick, in 2010. The print is part of their 'Mar: Adrift on the Hourglass Sea' series which features deserted landscapes in outer space. In this image, a mysterious and otherworldly mechanism floats through the Martian landscape. It is unknown who or what is operating it. With this imagery, the artists entice an imaginative narrative where the viewer is left to conjure up their own story.
About the series:
"Mars: Adrift on the Hourglass Sea" is Kahn and Selesnick’s first project to feature a female protagonist; a woman finds herself alone in a wasteland that appears to be Mars. It is uncertain how she arrived in this place, via spacecraft, through a fold in the space-time continuum or perhaps the landscape is a mental projection. Either way, it is clear that she has escaped an unnamed catastrophe on Earth. In a series of hallucinatory episodes she simultaneously explores the planet and builds a mock-life for herself from a combination of high-tech and stone-age materials. Mars is revealed to have ruined artifacts and monuments from a previous, or perhaps future, civilization. The remains of massive stone listening devices are littered about the landscape, leading us to wonder: is this a colony that has collapsed and lost touch with earth?
