Large Japanese 3-section Clothing Chest, crafted of chestnut and cedar with the entire facade of a thick rosewood veneer. The storage composition has multiple drawers of varying sizes, hinged double door compartment with interior sliding kimono trays, and two sets of top storage sliding doors highlighted in flat panels of gold leafed cloth paper with an interior shelf and drawer on one side. The facade hardware of copper & brass having bale shaped handles on the drawers, some with clover shaped keyholes and sliding covers. The side handles of iron (one missing on the inside side of the chest having the kimono trays). The top section’s top center drawer has a harmonica imbedded on the backside of the interior of the chest, wherein when the drawer is opened or closed the harmonica is played.
