This porcelain set was created by Salvador Dalí (1904-1989), a very talented artist and one of the most world-famous surrealist painters. Bavarian high-quality porcelain with gold rim, composed of 108 pièces, this service is for 12 people. Limited edition, numbered 378 / 1000. Manufactor Schirnding Porzellan Ac. Each piece is decorated by mermaids dressed hatted with red coral and surrounded by small charming patterns: a fisherman, ants, a snail-shaped shell, a sailboat, a young girl enjoying the sun, a seagull... Such a delicate sea item, poetic with very lovely mermaids for an original and joyful beautiful summer table. The set is composed of 106 pieces (two pieces are missing see details above) : - 23 dinner plates: diameter 25 cm - 12 dessert plates: diameter 20 cm - 12 deep plates: diameter 21,5 cm - 12 soup cups with 11 saucers (1 saucer is missing): height 6 cm; diameter 18 cm - 1 deep serving dish: height 7,5 cm; diameter 23 cm - 1 large oval serving dish: width: 36 cm; length: 22,5 cm. - 1 medium oval serving dish: width: 34 cm; length: 21,5 cm. - 1 small oval serving dish: width: 25 cm; length: 15 cm. - 1 gravy boat with 1 saucer: height: 7,5 cm; width: 16 cm. - 2 bowls: height 4,5 cm; diameter 14 cm. - 1 soup tureen: height: 14 cm; diameter 22 cm. - 1 coffee cup: height: 20 cm - 1 sugar pot: height: 10 cm - 1 milk pot : height: 9 cm - 12 coffee cups with 12 saucers: height: 9 cm The set is in its brown traveling skaï case with separated inner parts for the perfect setting and the best care of the pieces, very nicely done and a must rare to find.
