About the Item

Early AJ Visar Wall scone designed by Arne Jacobsen manufactured by Louis Poulsen, Denmark. With makers bedge inside the shade. The lamp is in good vintage condition with a bit loss of laquer. It has a E27 socket for regular bulbs and installation is hardwired. The famous Architect and designer Arne Jacobsen doesn‘t require any introduction. His designs included some of the most prominent seating furniture that have continuesly been produced ever since. The AJ Visor lamp was originally designed in 1958 for the famous Sas Royal hotel in Copenhagen, Arne Jacobsen's masterpiece for which he designed all the furniture and lighting up to and including the door handles and cutlery as a total concept. Each and every one of these items has become an iconic design classic. The shade is freely adjustable and shines a pleasant beam of light that is very easy to read with. Suitable for direct connection to the wall.
