About the Item

A very cool and extraordinarily rare promotional item by Gaetano Pesce for the 2005 Milan Triennale and Macef, the International Home Show. With an included insert that reads "Laviamoci i Pregiudizi" (roughly translates to "Let's wash away our prejudices"), this item is a mini version of Pesce's iconic Up chair in sponge with the round accompanying foot stool in a ball of soap. In very good vintage condition. However, once removed from the packaging, the chair piece is supposed to inflate but does not fully. Comes in original packaging with insert, mini chair, and soap foot stool. (See photos.) 4" x 3" x 2"
