About the Item

This is a Platner Dining Armchair, model 1725, initially designed by Warren Platner for Knoll in 1966. This is an early example, dating to the late 1960s. The frame of this chair is composed of patinated bronzed-steel, and the seat and backrest are upholstered in a purple hopsack fabric which appears to be original to the chair. This chair measures 22 inches deep, 26.5 inches wide, and 28.75 inches high. The seat height is 19 inches. We have intentionally left this piece in its original, untouched condition. There are several spots on the fabric and a few threads are loose on the arm frames. There are also a few areas on the frame where the paint has worn away. Overall, this chair is in good vintage condition with some signs of age apparent. Please see photos. Genuinely faulty goods will be replaced or money refunded on a case by case basis, however we must be advised of any faulty goods upon receipt of the item. It is the customer's responsibility to pay for return shipping and ship the item back to us. If the item is found to be faulty, we will also refund the postage cost. If there is no damage to the item, but a return is approved, the buyer will be responsible for both the initial and return shipping cost. It is at our discretion to refuse the refund of undamaged goods. If an order is placed and you would like to cancel the order, please notify us immediately. Any refunds will be processed via the same means that payment was made.
