About the Item

This pair of chairs were designed by Magnus L. Stephensen for Danish cabinet maker Fritz Hansen in the 1940s. These chairs are beautifully designed, with their curved beach frame adding a feeling of continuity to the chairs. The simplistic use of a single piece of wood for both the legs and arms, adds interest and cohesiveness to the design. The leather upholstery is in wonderful condition, with a gorgeously rich patina. The chairs are priced individually.
