About the Item

Here is a stunning set of two vintage Papa bear chairs designed by Hans J. Wegner (1914-2007). Wegner´s unique sense of design is expressed in these sculptural chairs. The "nails" are made of teak framed by a light brown cognac colored leather rim. The upholstery is light grey and dark grey Hallingdal from Danish Kvadrat. Hallingdal fabric is a combination of wool with a bit of viscose. This upholstery is used and about 20 years old, still in good condition Both chairs are mounted with solid teak nails. 1 chair with teak legs, the other with legs of stained beech. Very nice vintage condition only with light patina.
