About the Item

Poul Kjærholm 'PK15' Chair for Fritz Hansen in Clear Lacquered Ash. Established in 1872, Fritz Hansen has become synonymous with legendary Danish design. Combining timeless craftsmanship with an emphasis on sustainability, the brand’s re-editions of iconic pieces from such Danish Modern greats as Arne Jacobsen, Hans J. Wegner, and Vico Magistretti pay homage to the originals while thoughtfully incorporating innovation and responsibly sourced materials. Originially designed in 1979, 'PK15' perfectly exemplifies Kjærholm's visionary approach where art and functionality intersect. Executed in solid ash frame with cane seat and optional (removable) cushion in choice of black or brown leather. As Kjærholm’s final design, his lifelong pursuit of perfection and dedication to details is evident in the simple and calm appearance masking remarkably complex woodwork craftsmanship. Price per item. Available in unlimited quantities in choice of black colored ash or clear lacquered ash. Removable seat cushion is also available in choice of black or brown leather for additional fee; kindly inquire for most up to date pricing information. This listing is for the PK15 chair in clear lacquered ash without seat cushion. In stock lead time of 12-16 weeks. Out of stock can add an additional 8 weeks or more. Please note that lead times, cost and inventory availability are subject to change without notice. Please inquire for current lead times prior to placing time sensitive orders. Please note that all Fritz Hansen furniture pieces must ship directly from the manufacturer; as such, 1stDibs arranged shipping is not an option.
