About the Item

Offering a rare and exceptional pair of JH 501 armchairs. Most commonly known as "The Chair", these chairs are expertly designed for style and comfort and exquisitely constructed from solid teak. The chairs retain the original branded maker's mark. Designed in 1949 by Hans J. Wegner and produced by Johannes Hansen Denmark, Circa 1960s Sculpted solid teak, with black leather upholstery. Measures: 25"W x 21.5"D x 30"H. Seat height 18". Arm height 27.5". Professionally refinished. Excellent condition. Six matching chairs available. Sold in pairs.
