Fritz Hansen PK-80 by Poul Kjaerholm

About the Item

The PK-80 Daybed is the embodiment of Poul Kjærholm's talent for refining historical models and distilling the design down to the essentials. The daybed is inspired by a daybed designed by Mies van der Rohe and Lilly Reich in 1930. It is now in the Museum of Modern Art and around the world as a celebrated illustration of craftsmanship and modern design. This dates from the 1980s and comes in a beautiful version with a chimney red leather mattress.
