About the Item

These are a very fine pair of NV53 chairs designed by a master of chair design, Finn Juhl and made by a master cabinet maker, Niels Vodder. The beautiful shaped arms are held in place by small brass supports. We bought these from their original owner in Denmark who bought them new in 1956, and they had cared for them with the original fabric until now, sadly it was too worn to leave on them. They are both in excellent condition, with no damage, and have been freshly upholstered in a top quality pale green linen fabric, as they were originally except with modern fire safety regulations in mind. The photo showing the chairs from the front was taken in sunlight and best shows the exact colour on our monitor.
