Frank Gehry Power Play Chair for Knoll, Black Lacquered

About the Item

Frank Gehry Power Play chair. Hard maple, black finish. Frame constructed of hard white maple veneer strips. The underside of both pieces are embossed with the Knoll logo, Frank Gehry’s signature, and numbered "4/95" Clear plastic glides on bottoms. This ribbon-like designs transcend the conventions of style by exploring, as the great modernists did, the essential challenge of deriving form from function. Condition: Overall good condition. Numerous strips have been re glued (which is the typical case with these), therefore chairs are in good working condition. Various scuffs throughout as seen in photos, although nothing too serious. All plastic glides on bottom are intact, however a few of them are cracked. These chairs present well are ready to be placed.
