About the Item

Lovely Pair of "Baronet" lounge sofas designed by Marco Zanuso and edited by Arflex in Italy, 1964. The side panels are made of rosewood plywood. The frames have been entirely refinished and newly varnished. Very comfortable lounge set. Excellent condition. Original Pieces from the 1960s newly re-upholstered in the traditional way by the best French craftsmen, we used a high quality wool Bouclé fabric from the French House Nobilis. We can particularly appreciate the work and savoir-faire of our team of upholsterers respecting the original design, using the right proportions and lines as Marco Zanuso designed it in the 60's. This set was originally upholstered in brown leather, we can provide photos before restoration on demand. Excellent condition. Worldwide Express deliveries by air freight are available on all our items. As rosewood has been completely banned from cutting since 1992 in the Amazonian forests, vintage pieces made of this wood are all the more very collectible. Also, we do have the customs documents to make possible the exportation of this piece in any country. Literature : - "Plaisir de France", n°340, Février 1967 Translation : "The compact, well-designed armchair, treated in rosewood. Its very soft black leather cushions are filled with down; everything is luxurious ("Baronet" by Arflex, at Mobilier International)".
