George Nelson Credenza for Herman Miller, Walnut and White Lacquer, 1960s

About the Item

A wonderful credenza designed by George Nelson for Herman Miller. Part of the Executive Office Group (EOG) line designed for executive offices of the period. Featuring lovely walnut top and sides, beautifully accented by white lacquered sliding doors. Each sliding door opens to reveal a spacious interior each with an adjustable shelf. The interior is veneered in walnut which adds a lot of warmth, and shows the level of quality of this piece. This would function well in either an office or residential setting. Long and low with perfect proportions, this would fit right in any Mid-Century Modern or contemporary decor. Refinished and ready for use. A few small areas as pictured.

    Replacements made: The original masonite back panel was replaced. Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. Fully refinished. There is a small 2cm dark spot on the top as pictured. Some light scratches in the chrome components. Credenza presents very well.
