About the Item

Hans Wegner (Danish 1914-2007) Model JH-563 Freestanding Desk, also known as the Wishbone or 'V' Desk, designed by Wegner and made by cabinetmakers Johannes Hansen in Copenhagen, Denmark, 1950s. This is a very rare desk, and this example is made entirely in light oak. There are two drawers with compartmented interiors, and the underside is stamped with the manufacturer's mark. The desk measures 172cm wide x 84cm deep, and 74cm high. In excellent condition for age and use.
