Hans J. Wegner Round Dining Table PP76 “China Table” in Cherrywood

About the Item

Round dining table, model PP76 – also known as the “China Table” – crafted in solid, matte-lacquered cherry wood. Originally designed in 1947 as a natural companion to Wegner’s iconic China Chairs, the table is proportionally and stylistically aligned with their elegant, sculptural form. This example was produced by PP Møbler in 2001 and remains in beautiful original condition. It includes one extension leaf, expanding the diameter from 120 cm to 180 cm. One original leaf included. Measurements H: 72 cm Dia: 120 cm / 180 cm. Model PP76 exemplifies Wegner’s mastery of combining geometric simplicity with functional versatility – a timeless piece that embodies both craftsmanship and design integrity.
