About the Item

Step into a realm where elegance dances hand in hand with practicality, and timeless design whispers secrets of bygone eras. This enchanting dining table is a masterpiece of mid-century allure that will captivate your senses and elevate your dining experience to new heights. Crafted with meticulous care and imbued with the spirit of innovation, this early 1960s teak dining table by the visionary Hans Wegner for Andreas Tuck is a testament to the enduring legacy of Danish design. Its sleek silhouette and minimalist aesthetic pay homage to Wegner's iconic style, exuding an air of understated sophistication that transcends the confines of time. Fashioned from solid teak, this extraordinary table boasts versatility as its hallmark, effortlessly accommodating gatherings of four to ten guests with ease. Starting as two halves, it beckons you to embark on a culinary journey, its diameter of 47.5 inches laying the foundation for intimate gatherings and festive feasts alike. But wait, there's more magic to behold! With three leaves, each measuring a generous 24 inches, this table unfolds like a story waiting to be told, stretching its wings to a majestic length of 119.5 inches. Yet, amidst this expansion, lies a hidden gem—a solid teak leg nestled beneath, bestowing upon the table an extra touch of stability and grace, ensuring that every moment shared around it is infused with comfort and joy. As your fingertips trace the contours of its surface, you'll be mesmerized by the hypnotic dance of wood grain, a flame-like pattern that whispers tales of nature's artistry and craftsmanship. It's a symphony of form and function, reminiscent of the Johannes Hansen 567 model dining table, yet bearing Wegner's distinctive touch—a fusion of beauty and practicality that transcends mere furniture and becomes a work of art in its own right. So, gather your loved ones, prepare a feast for the senses, and let this enchanting dining table be the centerpiece of your culinary adventures. For in its presence, every meal becomes a celebration, every gathering a moment to cherish for eternity. This dining table would look incredible alongside other Danish modern pieces. This elegant dining table would look great with some wishbone dining tacirs, or a set of round chairs for a classic timeless look. It would look great with some Borge Mogensen or Finn Juhl dining chairs.

Postmodern Industrial Dining Table Designed by Robert Josten
By Robert Josten
Located in Culver City, CA
This dining table is equal parts post modern and industrial modern and just oozes California modernism. This dining table or writing desk was designed by Robert Josten in the 1970's. Made of aluminum, this metal grille / grid style is a staple of Robert Josten's work. This dining table is a great transitional piece that could easily flex into any contemporary environment. The table has an almost Allsaints, industrial modern feel with a slight steampunk vibe as well. The table could also be used in an ultra modern environment and would look great in a new modern designed home. This piece could also be used as a retail display table...
