Thonet Bentwood Plant Stand/ Pedestal Mod. 9531 Art Nouveau, Austria circa 1915

About the Item

Awesome Art Nouveau bentwood pedestal from the renowned company of Thonet Vienna around 1906. This outstanding designed flower stand Mod.Nr. 9531 provides two round levels, connected by four slim elegant beechwood columns. The upper section is highlighted by two bentwood rings, the lower compartment by one ring element. A real dark mahogany finish combined with a traditional shellac polish confers this elegant designed Art Nouveau pedestal an absolute timeless appearance and would fit to many interior styles. It can be multiple used: in its origin as a flower stand or for example also as a display stand for valuable ceramics/ figurines. Marked at the bottom of the upper level with the famous Thonet paper mark.
