For sale a rare arrow brooch dated from the 19th century, the Victorian era. This brooch features a stunning yellowish-gray cat-eye chrysoberyl cabochon in the center: a precious phenomenon gemstone that displays a line in the center of the stone when exposed to light. The cat-eye measures 10mm in height and 7mm in width. The cabochon is framed with a circle of white seed pearls, as well as the tail and the point of the arrow. The feature setting has an overlapping ribbon style design terminating to the horizontal bar with a natural pearl.
The lower terminal is embellished with a vertical arrangement incorporating an individually collet set 0.02ct Dutch cut diamond to the apex of millegrain decorated, collet set 0.62ct cabochon cut sapphire.

This fine and impressive vintage cabochon cut frog brooch has been crafted in 14k yellow gold in the form of a frog.
The head of the frog is embellished with three pavé set eight-cut diamonds and a pavé set round cut emerald.
Two individually bezel
set round cut rubies represent the eyes.
The body of the frog is ornamented with two feature bezel set garnet cabochons, totalling 5.95Cts.
The hind legs of the frog are embellished with a total of seven transitional modern brilliant round cut pavé set diamonds.
The 14k gold frame is embellished with a subtle millegrain and engraved decoration.
The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and safety clasp.
