The day/night girandole earpendants are each designed with a shaped top centering a cabochon garnet, with detachable pendants suspending flexibly-set garnet drops and seed pearls, enhanced throughout with step-cut emeralds, old mine-cut diamonds, and black and white champlevé enamel, mounted in 18K gold. An exquisite pair of "girandoles", paired with a luxe brooch, this rare French suite in Holbeinesque taste captures the artist's vision of bold form, extravagant color and movement.

A fine and impressive antique Victorian pearl and blue colored glass, 9 karat yellow gold bar brooch in the form of a spider; part of our antique jewelry collections.
This impressive antique bar brooch has been crafted in 9k yellow gold in the form of a spider.
The cephalothorax of this fine representation of an arachnid is ornamented with a 2.5mm pearl, and the abdomen embellished with a mixed oval cut blue colored glass stone which resembles a sapphire.
The stones are both displayed in millgrain decorated bezel settings.
Completing the spider, are eight realistically modelled legs.
This piece of Victorian jewelry secures to the reverse with a hallmarked hinged pin and hook fastening.
The hallmarks to the pin and hook fastening include the 9k fineness hallmark 375 and the Sheffield Assay Office mark (Sheffield rose).
