Steps can be walked on all the way to the top and are structurally sound. Presently, only two of these staircases are for sale in the world and we are happy to have them both at our showroom. Thanks to Cassina’s outstanding artisan skills, the model from 1962 has been reissued in its original form, alternating the use of oak with inserts in Viennese cane, with versions in stained or natural wood with elements in white or black marble. The low table by Charlotte Perriand is composed of six segments of different radius, arranged in a circle but offset from one another to create an uneven outer border in solid wood with a hole in the center, envisioned as a spatial center of gravity. Materials: Marble /Wood Wood is a natural material, subject to changes caused by external factors such as sunlight, temperature, humidity, daily use. These changes are not to be considered as faults but peculiarities of the material, emphasizing its natural beauty. New materials available in fresh, novel finishes and colours differentiate and emphasize the elegant design of this family. For all of the pieces in the series, Okoume wood, ideal for outdoor use, comes with matt lacquer finish in the following colours: marron glacé, China red, comfort, petroleum, light grey, sage green, a new shade of blue and Capri blue; the low tables also come with glossy glazed ceramic finish in the following shades: mossy green, basalt grey and light grey, while a natural teak seat is also available for the stools. Thanks to this vast and varied product range, it is possible to mix and match the various styles to create dynamic, free-form arrangements in absolute Charlotte Perriand spirit.
