About the Item

This is an iconic slatted-oak bench, Model 400, designed by Harry Bertoia and produced by Knoll. It is an early piece, and dates to circa 1952. The bench was constructed using solid oak wood for the slats, and has a base of black welded steel. The piece is unmarked, but we guarantee it to be an authentic Knoll production. This bench measures 19 inches deep, 72 inches wide, and 15.25 inches tall. This came from an estate in Philadelphia. It has some wear and patina to the top, and the base shows some scuffs and scratches. Overall, this bench is in good condition with some signs of age. Please see photos. Genuinely faulty goods will be replaced or money refunded on a case by case basis, however we must be advised of any faulty goods upon receipt of the item. It is the customer's responsibility to pay for return shipping and ship the item back to us. If the item is found to be faulty, we will also refund the postage cost. If there is no damage to the item, but a return is approved, the buyer will be responsible for both the initial and return shipping cost. It is at our discretion to refuse the refund of undamaged goods. If an order is placed and you would like to cancel the order, please notify us immediately. Any refunds will be processed via the same means that payment was made.
