Hans J. Wegner GE6 Daybed Sofa for GETAMA

About the Item

The perfect New York sofa and guest bed, and one of the finest daybed designs of the era. The model GE6 Daybed designed by Hans J. Wegner for GETAMA. This brilliantly constructed sofa doubles as a single bed when the backrest is lifted. Our sofa may be delivered in COM. Cushions have been restored and refreshed, and are supremely comfortable for lounging and sleeping. The substantial teak frame has been hand-oil polished. Tapered legs while soundly sturdy, add visual lightness to the whole form. Original hardware, 1960s, Denmark. Measures: 76.75" long x 33.75" deep x 30" high, 35" with seat back raised. Seat height 16.5".
