About the Item

Gorgeous second generation Flag Halyard lounge chair by Hans Wegner for PP Møbler. With the Flag Halyard Chair, Hans Wegner paid tribute to the great Modernists such as Le Corbusier, Mies van der Rohe, and Marcel Breuer, while showcasing his own mastery of steel tube construction. Despite his deep affinity for wood, Wegner’s design reflects his versatile approach to materials, presenting a striking blend of industrial and organic elements. The chair’s flat surfaces are formed from a single, 240-meter long flag halyard. We here present you an original piece in its original untouched condition in solid stainless steel and natural linen.
