If an employee of Herman Miller were to have a child, they were given an Eames RAR rocking chair to commemorate the birth. It would be marked with a small placard commemorating the name and birthdate of the child. The beautiful example is one of those rockers. It features a parchment colored fiberglass shell upholstered in an Alexander Girard hopsack fabric with an uncommon parchment crimp cord on the edge. The original brass plaque has been removed from the back.
