Early 19th Century French Sideboard Buffet Painted White
About the Item
This delightful sideboard has been given a white painted finish, adding to its charming French country style. The paint has been gently distressed revealing the natual wood below, softening the look and adding an aged grace to the finish. Take note of the carved, curvy panels, scalloped lower skirt and applied floral medallions. While a key is used as a pull for the right door, notice in photos the left door and central "divider" are actually all one piece and door secures in place by an interior hook. This buffet is strong, stable and ready for use. Any scratches, nicks, cracks (see right door panel, etc) are commensurate with age and do not impact the integrity nor appeal of this lovely French sideboard.
