An exceptionally rare Model RY-33 high-board designed by Hans J. Wegner for Ry Mobler. Teak case having detailed oak interior featuring 4 adjustable shelves to the left, 3 canter shelves and 6 adjustable drawers to the right behind 2 monumental sliding teak and woven rattan doors with carved inset pulls over stainless steel legs with contrasting teak feet. Condition: Excellent, vintage condition - showing just minor wear from use. The oak is a lovely rich colour. Excellent detailing. Dimensions: 51.5x71x19.25” HWD Case height 33.75” -Denmark 1961

High board or double cabinet model RY20 designed by Hans J. Wegner. Produced in Denmark by RY Møbler, this example stamped February 1962. Made rom oak with contrasting cane on the upper sliding doors. Inside of the cabinet in light maple. Nice details and attention to wood grain on all surfaces. Very good vintage condition with light age related wear and patina. Hans Jørgensen Wegner was a Danish architect and furniture designer, well-known both in Denmark and internationally. He designed over 500 different chairs, including the Wishbone Chair (the "Y chair"), which today is considered a design icon.
