In these years some designs by Hans Christiansen were executed, amongst them very delicately enameled silver cigarette cases. The enamels on the several silver and gold pieces was of very high standard, and sometimes even gems like rubies were applied. An extraordinary round compact box, created in the city of Pforzheim Germany during the art deco period, back in the late 1920's. This superb elegant round box is closely to mint condition, is very rare and was carefully crafted at the Louis Kuppenheim workshop in solid .935/.999 silver, with gilt interiors and a mirror. Exceptional workmanship as you expect of the workshop of Louis Kuppenheim, with remarkable enameled patterns of peacocks feathers on both faces. Embellished around with white enamel frames and the borders with incised and carved panels with flowers.

An stupendous ancient glass flask, created during the Roman imperial period, between the 100 to 400 AD. Crafted in blown bi-color glass with spirals and swirled decorations.
Measures: Height of 5.25 inches and a base diameter of 3 inches (133 mm by 76 mm).
Ancient Roman Glass
A large part of the ancient glass work repertoire was designed for table use, in particular for carrying and serving water and wine at banquets. Jugs, one of the most frequently used containers, existed in various dimensions (the smaller examples would contain condiments, the largest ones beverages) and shapes: a spherical or more elongated body, a flat or higher, molded base, a trefoil-shaped or circular and elaborate mouth. This example can certainly be dated to the Late Roman period because of the pale, greenish hue of the glass, the simple form of the base, wide mouth, indented rim and especially the presence of the spiraling patterns in low relief which are clearly visible on the body, having appeared as an ornament in glass work from the 4th century onward.

Kajikawa family, flourished in the 19th century, they was Japanese lacquerware artists whose school in Edo (now Tokyo) flourished for more than 200 years. This family is perhaps the most famous of all the dynasties of Japanese lacquer artists, and certainly the name most often found on inro. The family is said to have been founded by Hikobei at Edo in the early 17th century, although some claim that the family’s great reputation really stemmed from his son and pupil Kyujiro. Unusual lamp designed in Milano Italy by Walter Garro for Samuel Parker Slamp. Produced in Italy between the end of the 1980s and the beginning of the 1990s by Slamp. Created in a very limited edition, this is a perfect accent for a lounge, relax areas, conversations areas or bedrooms decorated in modern, contemporary style. They work well as floor lamps or table lamps. The lamp are screen printed with delicate and dreamy pop street art engraving designs. Slamp Lamps was a serious cult Lamp of the 90s originally produced in 1993 and manufactured until 2000. It is quite hard to find in brand new like this one.

Louis Napoleon Bonaparte (1808-1873) was Emperor of France from 1852 to 1870 under the name of Napoleon III.
