Pure white and lovely lavender and both are awesome! Here is a pair of vintage Mid-Century Modern Blendo cocktail pitchers with incredible “cat tail” signature handles. These pitchers are attributed to the West Virginia Specialty Glass Company's Blendo line of glassware. The West Virginia Specialty Glass Company factory produced the Blendo collection from 1956-1987 with its heyday in the 1960s. It has no pontils but smooth bottoms. It came in a variety of colors, shapes and sizes. Ranging from pastels to bolds and brights; and from pitchers and bowls to various sizes, shapes and types of drinking glasses and bowls. I like to mix it up — sometimes in the dining room, sometimes on the kitchen banquette, sometimes in the loggia. It transports your guests and makes them feel more comfortable and relaxed.”
Introduce elegance at supper with silver, such as a platter from celebrated Massachusetts silversmith manufacturer Reed and Barton or a regal copper-finish flatware set designed by International Silver Company, another New England company that was incorporated in Meriden, Connecticut, in 1898. By then, Meriden had already earned the nickname “Silver City” for its position as a major hub of silver manufacturing.
