About the Item

From Tiffany & Co. New York, a silver soldered bottle coaster with a removable liner insert, circa 1950- 1960s. The liner fits into the coaster to prevent a chilled bottle of wine from dripping condensation into the coaster. A heavily chased roped design edges the coaster. Marked: Tiffany & Co. numbered, silver soldered extra plate. 5.75 in. Diameter x .75 in Height The expected patina and loss of silver where the bottle sits.
