About the Item

Finn Juhl for for France & Søn, coffee tables from the series ‘500’, teak, Denmark, design 1958 This solid teak coffee table was part of the ‘500’ series that included a square and a rectangular side table with the common feature of a raised lip that runs along the longer side of the table top. These tables are in outstanding condition and retain all of their original manufacturing badges. The wood has been lightly sanded and re-oiled resulting in an original intended finish. Rarely seen let alone as a pair. These tables are being re produced by 'House of Finn Juhl' but to find an original teak pair is highly sought after.
