About the Item

Sterling silver gold wash interior tea caddy box by Tiffany & Co with monogram. Monogram appears to be MW on the lid, also engraved 1907 on the bottom (see photos). This hinged lid box is 8 sided and features a smooth polished finish with a gold wash interior. The C hallmark dates this piece to manufacture under the directorship of Charles T. Cook, 1902-07. The pattern number indicates it was first produced circa 1885. Does not include Tiffany & Co box or pouch. Measures approx 3 1/2" high, base measures approx 3 1/2" wide, opening measures approx 3 1/2" x 2 3/4". Weighs approx 253.7g, 163.2dwt Marked TIFFANY & CO 8038 MAKERS 3241 STERLING SILVER 925 C 2 Very nice condition with some slight surface scratching and mild tarnish. Will come packaged securely and in a gift box or pouch when possible (not a Tiffany box or pouch) and will be shipped US Priority Mail with insurance. Does not include Tiffany & Co box or pouch.
