A graduate of New York City’s Parsons School of Design (BFA, 1996), MADSAKI was born in Osaka, Japan, and raised in New Jersey, USA – experiences between two cultures that formed his aesthetics and personality. While much of MADSAKI’s work centers on his interest in art history and critiquing mass culture with references to slang, movies and manga characters, the artist has recently been exploring more personal, intimate topics. To express this visually, MADSAKI developed a signature style using spray paint as a fine art medium, stemming from the fact that he has never participated in illegal graffiti on the streets. The art on the wall is not the piece of metal. The art is the way your eyes read the space created by the light reflecting off the surface. These panels have effects that are dramatic and immediately apparent and another level of perception that is only apparent with prolonged study. Letting one’s eyes relax and simply gazing will yield bits of reflected light that curve away and behind other objects, swirls and shimmering lines that lift into the space in front of the surface. Aside from the dimensionality, these pieces can function like a diffraction grating—if one looks closely all hues of the spectrum can be seen on the surface. These are light sculpture, objects that change exactly the way sculpture changes as one walks around it. They are not meant to represent things. They are themselves and invite you to get to know and understand them.
On the outside Bruce R. MacDonald’s work seems like frozen video displays lifted from the walls of some 22nd Century environment; while on the inside they have the detailing and complexity of sun sparkles on the ocean, the diversity of the forest floor, maps of some celestial event or pure abstractions of a particular moment of organic consciousness.
The artist graduated with a degree from Haverford College in 1981 and decided to create physical objects. “After college I was tired of only having sheets of paper to show for long days of work. With metal, after forty hours, I had something tangible, something that would survive, and something that might be here forever.”

Cindy Avroch is a multi-talented artist who began her career by following in her mother’s footsteps. Cindy’s first love was always drawing, painting and sculpting, although Cindy is also a trained dancer. While other little girls could be seen carrying Barbie dolls around, Cindy would be juggling a sketchbook, pencils and an eraser in her hands. Among her earlier accomplishments, she received a degree in textile design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, and a scholarship to study at Winchester School of Art in England.
Cindy worked for many years as a studio artist and then an art director in New York City’s fashion industry. Her designs were in major department stores and specialty shops nationwide. Working directly with The Walt Disney Co., Warner Bros., United Media and Nickelodeon, she created licensed print collections for the men’s, women’s and children’s markets. Her unique approach and vision, combined with her philosophy to diversify her modes of expression, enabled her to create and to direct her team to develop fashion collections that tripled sales.
She left the fashion industry to care for her special needs son and found herself a stay- at-home mom for the first time. Soon afterwards, she launched a new venture from home, designing fine art lighting...

Ashley is an American artist living in Savannah Georgia. Her work and practice is primarily mixed media paintings and sculptures with a focus on ceramics. “ My work begins with the subtle impressions left from living a life” Through Emotionally charged ideas and recurring imagery the viewer is encouraged to participate in a dialogue that hovers between dreams and reality inviting them to create their own story.
‘My work begins with the subtle impressions left from living a life. I use recurring imagery of rabbits, birds, wings, hoods and caps, flora even missing body parts almost like a key to a map. The recurring images can be symbolic of a tendency, a comment on a belief or an anecdote. While I am working it is like a private message between me and the piece, which becomes a public conversation inviting the viewer to have their own experience. Occasionally it turns out it is the same experience for the viewer as it was for me and this reveals our commonality. This is important to me because we all have our individual story. It lingers in the unconscious. My work can act as a retrieval cue. Stories, poems, songs, relationships are all there until I start to daydream getting out of the thinking mind. I can let any new version be told much like a writer of fiction. There are silver linings, dead ends, sharp curves, love, loss, vulnerability, blue skies, dark clouds, deep water and pretty little things...
